Having ended the year with one of the biggest shows, singer decided to treat himself to a real holiday. The singer first took his Gagamel crew members for a boat cruise for a night to Sese Island.
Then Bebe headed to Kigali where he spent a full week visiting Rwanda’s most beautiful destinations. Bebe also attended a friend’s wedding where according to our sources, he turned out to be the centre of attraction. Well, he returned home on Saturday morning; but that was after he was involved in serious drama at the Kigali International Airport.
According to sources, Bebe was stopped from boarding the plane because he was putting on sandals; “He was ordered out of the line by security and they told him he had to change shoes if he wanted to travel,” the source told us.
However, the hard-headed Bebe we all know was not about to take the airport security’s orders lightly; “there was a stampede; he questioned the security personnel why they had let a white man with similar shoes pass and instead stopped him. He (Bebe) made a few phone calls to some Rwandese friends and the Ugandan embassy in Kigali,” the source added.
The source told us that after a few minutes, the airport security boss sanctioned Bebe to proceed to the plane, “but the singer insisted he deserved an apology!” “A group of both airport security and aviation personnel came and spoke to Bebe for some minutes, he proceeded to the plane where fellow passengers received him with a loud applause as he yelled, “We rule East Africa!” hmmm, Kigali welcome to Ugandan star drama series!
