Sylvia Owori has reserved her walking swag ever since her fighter boyfriend Malik Kaliisa was thumped by UPDF’s Titus Tugume in a kick-boxing bout at Kati-Kati Restaurant a few months back.
The fashion designer was back to her winning ways after scooping a staggering four accolades at the annual Afrikan Fashion Walk Awards held at Cayenne Bar & Restaurant in Bukoto on December 22.
Owori collected the awards for Lifetime Achievement, Media Choice Designer of the Year, Most Inspiring Designer and Best Fashion Event for her Late Night Shopping do. Even when a few people got to know about the awards either because many were busy preparing for festive season or their lack of publicity, Owori made sure the world and its dog knew about her win.
She posted on her facebook wall: “….Hmmm no wonder people like it and they are also doing it. I was humbled thank you Uganda, all my awards are dedicated to Uganda my mother land.”
