When you talk about the Dual Sim phone, what comes to people’s minds is that only Samsung has the genuine dual Sim phone. But Now Nokia has added another genuine dual Sim (not the Chinese fakes) in its C series phones.
Announced recently by Nokia in Nairobi, Kenya, two of the four new C series devices, despite being plainly cheap, have a very important feature for a talk phone – dual Sim. The Nokia C2 can keep both Sim cards active; meaning calls and text messages can come to either number while the phone is on. The first Sim card on the Nokia C2 sits underneath the battery. The second SIM card is ‘hot-swappable’, a feature unique to Nokia, meaning it can be removed and inserted when the phone is on. This model goes for Sh150,000.
The C1-00 is priced at just about Shs120,000. Apart from one Sim card being active and one on standby, sports a 3.5mm headphone jack, flashlight (Ka-torch) and microSD card support of up to 32GB. These phones also have the basic functions that are available in all the other budget Nokia models like games, alarm clock and many more.
