This Saturday, all roads will lead to Nansana based Worship House as celebrated gospel artiste, Pastor Wilson Bugembe will be performing live in concert that is dubbed ‘Tuzimbe’. The concert is aimed at using the money collected to construct a well-furnished church which Pastor Bugembe says will have a sitting capacity of over 6,000 people upon completion. In a press briefing earlier today at the church  premises, the Pastor noted that he intends to use this concert to raise funds to build the first phase of the new church that requires about Shs1.14 billion (USD300,000) and Shs2.28 billion (USD600,000) for the other two phases.

He called on his fans to turn up in huge numbers as he expects to have at least 5000 people at the concert. He added that the concert is expected to be attended by several artistes in town with both secular and gospel songs. However, all songs to be played will be gospel as he requested the secular artistes to sing his own songs and they agreed.

He appealed to those willing to attend to avoid making the concert political. “Kindly avoid putting on political caps, or going using political chants. I have agreed with all security agencies that we will not make the event political.” Pastor Bugembe who started singing at the age of 19, has released several hit songs and is one of the most respected gospel Ugandan artistes in the past decade.
