Singer Bebe Cool has continued to prove that being pelted by bottles and stones on stage did not scare him and is not about to be humbled by haters.

The Kankolera singer has regularly taunted his social media followers with posts that seem to say “I am still here”.

First was him conforming that he would be performing at Gravity Omutujju’s Embuzi Zakutudde concert despite having promised to keep off live shows for a while.
However, on the D day, Bebe Cool was a no show and many thought he had chickened out in fear of once again being hit on stage.

But he has explained that he only missed the show because he had a very important metting with President Museveni.

“Oooh congz my young brother Gravity, sorry i missed the performance coz I had an urgent/important meeting with JAJJA of the nation. But am glad it was a success, so was my meeting,” Bebe Cool wrote on social media.

The meeting took place at the President’s country home of Rwakitura where the latter spent the weekend, having visited and commissioned a number of projects in Rubirizi District.

Bebe Cool went to Rwakitura with singer Catherine Kusasira of the Golden Band, as well as a few of members of both artists’ crews.

These were picked and returned to Kampala on the President’s own military helicopter.

“By the way kampite wagulu, sigwa kubobucupa mukubo nga nkomawo (Let me fly in the air lest I bump into those guys that throw bottles on my way). See you in a minute,”
