Twitter goes crazy with #JuliusMalemaChallenge

#JuliusMalemaChallenge

The #JuliusMalemaChallenge started last weekend at the funeral of the late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela held in Soweto, South Africa.

Not many Ugandans watched the funeral and neither did they know it happened but they woke up to an interesting clip from Economic Freedom Fighters’ commander in chief Julius Malema paying tribute to Mandela.

In his speech, Malema said those who betrayed Madikizela-Mandela while she was still alive were at her funeral. He then asked for her to send a signal on what should be done to deal with the critics now that she’s gone.

The hashtag #JuliusMalemaChallenge then started in South Africa, till it rotated around the entire African continent with Ugandan tweeps not being left behind of course.
