American rapper Rick Ross is reportedly fighting for his life in hospital and hooked up to a machine that is in control over the function of his heart and lungs.
Doctors are reportedly treating him with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), a form of life support in which blood is oxygenated outside of the body before its pumped back into it.
The rapper is reported to have been breathing heavily by the time emergency officials arrived at his residence at 3:43 a.m, and police noted he had thrown up all over himself.
Rick Ross, known to have a history of seizures, has been hospitalized in a Miami-area cardiac unit.
Born William Leonard Roberts II, Rick Ross, 42 is the founder of the record label Maybach Music Group. He is famed for songs like ‘Hustlin’, ‘Push it’, ‘Yo the boss’, speeding’ and ‘Aston Martin music’ among others.
