“We make plans but God is the ultimate planner” I am always reminded about this whenever someone dies. Various projects by the deceased come to a standstill while other plans die along with the person.
Singer Mowzey Radio’s untimely death has not only affected his family’s plans but the music industry at large. Last week Singer Chameleone announced that he was abandoning all he was working on to fill up for the then ailing Mowzey Radio at all Goodlyfe shows that had been planned before Mowzey Radio was injured in the bar fight that later led to his death.
Today Singer Spice Diana has also announced that she is postponing her concerts after the passing of one of the Uganda music’s greatest vocalists, Mowzey Radio.
“Am so sorry to announce that I and my management are pulling out our concerts which were due this weekend and we will communicate a new date at a later stage after laying our Brother to rest, hope u can all understand. It’s a trying time for all of us right now may God comfort each of us in this moment,” Spice Diana has posted on social media.
In a very emotional post, he singer also reminisces about the good times she had with Radio.
“I recall the words you said to me “This year is your year, Spice. You promised to write for me 4 songs this year. The Surprise you made for me at my graduation when you personally drove me to the Surprise party. You only wished me well RADIO. You have been my mentor, my inspiration, my friend. #RIPradio #foreverremembered we ??u.” Diana wrote.
Her fans who are similarly engulfed in grief thanked her honoring her deceased friend though some called her out for cancelling her shows.
