When Irene Ntale left Swangz Avenue, many people wrote her off. Truth be told, her music career somehow dipped although Africa’s biggest music station thinks otherwise.
MTV Base, which is also one of the most trusted on the continent last week asked fans to ‘list&tag your top three favourite Ugandan artistes’. The tweet was complete with a photo of Irene Ntale with a head decked in burning candles.
The mere fact that Irene Ntale’s picture was flagged on their twitter handle is enough for us to believe they believe she is one of the best things that has happened to Uganda music. And rightly so. Irene is not only good vocally, but she is also a skilled guitarist.
